Okay, I officially miss running. I fell out of the habit in mid-October when I was travelling, and then it was cold, and then I got a cold, and now it is still cold (actually colder) but my cold is getting better.
Question for any runners or similar athletes: after a month of laziness, what's the best way to get back in the swing of things? I was seven weeks into the Zombies, Run! 5K training app, and I'm quite sure I can't just jump back in where I left off. (The skipping alone will kill me.) Do I need to start all the way at the beginning? Is there a formula for how much progress you lose?

Date: 2013-11-12 04:17 pm (UTC)So, if you felt okay doing week 4 without a struggle, maybe try that? And if that is okay, next run day, do start of week 5, see if that is a good place.
