OKAY SO. For the final for Ancient Greek History (aka Monuments of Greece), we have to write three five-page essays and one seven-page research paper. One of the options for the essays:[Poll #1565558]

Awesome topic! I still think about the Shakespeate final where one question was a long quote about Measure for Measure that ended with "...which makes a lovely Christmas card but isn't Shakespeare." Dr. Lord simply asked "So what IS Shakespeare?'

The answer is Epimetheus, because it would FREAK HIM OUT.

Let Prometheus design it too. ;)

I kind of like all the options and support the underrepresented gods and goddesses. I love hearing about what you're doing in Athens and I miss studying Classics.

Also, what about Hephaestus?

Hephaestus and Hestia are the two who didn't have thrones. He worked in the forge and she gave up her seat to Dionysus saying that her place was among the mortals.

I like the idea of making a sanctuary of Ares for the obvious paradoxification reasons. But Athena is and always will be my favorite.

You just gave me an MST3K flashback...

In Heracles and the Captive Women there is the line "Today is dedicated to Uranus!" The MST3K cast says they just had nothing to add so they gave the line a moment of silence on either side.
