So is the lack of comment notifs part of the DOS attack on LJ yesterday, or what? Because if it is, I will suck it up, and if it is not, I will take part in the grand LJ tradition and whine.

Lack of notifs does seem to be a side effect of the DOS. Which is apparently still going on, given what I read regarding Twitter.
