Zombie dream. First one in a while.
I am counting it as a zombie dream because the motif was correct -- me, a group of people, being chased by a pack of monsters and attempting to secure a room against them.
It is not quite a zombie dream in actuality, though, because we were being chased by -- no, really -- rat creatures from Bone.
Which we were finally warding off with handfuls of quarters.
I think some kind of waitrat showed up too.
I . . . okay. The chase elements were still more than enough to wake me up shivering, along with trying to barricade glass doors that didn't lock and having to execute a member of the party who had gotten bitten. (And . . . was going to turn into a rat creature? I don't know. I think it was a new wrinkle. I'm not a fan.)
So much for the early bedtime. I'm going to stay up a few more minutes until I stop being scared, even though I can barely keep my eyes open.
