*stares outside* I woke up this morning and the windows looked completely
white with fog. And a couple days ago we were having crazy wind,
up to 60 mph (although I feel a little bad going OMG WIND when the coasts
are getting ravaged) and thunder and lightning.

And then there's the economy, and the large Hadron collider . . .

No wonder I have "Imagine the End of the World" stuck in my head. O.o If
there's a plague of locusts, I'm outta here. Although I suppose I should
fill out my absentee ballot form just in case we aren't leading up to an
apocalypse.

Pittsburgh is a bad place to be in the event of an apocalypse. Even if it's
a completely mundane sort of apocalypse -- giant meteor headed for the
earth, whatever -- somehow, in Pittsburgh, it will result in zombies.

I should get REM stuck in my head instead; it's more energizing. Also I am
smug about being able to sing that entire song now.
