I like the way they set up Torchwood (I like even better the way they set it up in "Tooth and Claw," because it's so very overdramatic, and if anything is overdramatic, it's Torchwood).
I also like Harriet Jones, Prime Minister. Don't ruin her career, Doctor! She made a good move! A cold one, yes, but a good one.
I think I may need to make a Fourth Doctor scarf.
First off -- the labrats? Make them a few mph faster and you've got the cast of my zombie nightmares. *shudder* I have a Thing about boils and blisters and stuff poking out of the skin; Bootstrap Bill's barnacle makes me nauseous.
Also, David Tennant and Billie Piper are AMAZING. The lighting-quick changes between Cassandra and someone else, the accent changes, Cassandra!Doctor freaking out and hiding behind Rose -- <3333
The Doctor hugging that healed woman? Cutest thing in the world. Lucky extra. David Tennant looks like he gives good hugs.
Realistically, I think all the labrats should have been children. It would've been even more disturbing, too. But then, realistically, I spent the climactic ten minutes going "MEDICINE DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY," so I should really just suspend my disbelief a little more and say that if they can have drugs or antibodies that can be passed skin to skin, they can grow clones to maturity quickly.
But MEDICINE DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.
Finally: There's nothing like Parents' Weekend to inspire housecleaning. In a guilty sort of way. >.>
