When the woman making my sandwich at Subway asked "How are you?" I said "Good! How are you?" and she got this huge, surprised grin on her face, as if no one had ever asked her that at work before. Possibly no one has.
I had to write a self-assessment of my writing and experience with research/analysis for Foundations of Drama, and I mentioned this clearly unreasonable tendency to write analysis for fun, citing the Women's Work thing as the current example. So I figured I might as well rewatch some SPN and see if I notice things more this time around, especially in some of the eps I don't remember so clearly. *cracks knuckles* "Pilot," here I come.
T&A shots of Jess: 3
T&A shots of the ghost: 4
T&A shots of Dean: 1
Guys dying offscreen: 1
Metallicar being dead sexy: 1
Doublemint twin moments: 1
Fraternal abuse: 5
Goddamn but that flickering hand to the guy's face still gets me every time.
That looks like a white silk teddy Jess is wearing, to me; I think it's reasonable to assume it's a welcome home present for Sam, like the cookies. I mean, okay, clearly it's there for the visual, but it's not a totally incongruous white nightgown. Dunno about this, though. It's clearly not the same piece of clothing, and I'm not sure whether to call it a nightgown or just a dress.
