*musing*
Deep Wizardry
Nita Callahan-
Kit Rodrigued-
Dairine Callahan- I won't even try. They should be unknowns, period. Also my personal daydream is to play Nita, despite the fact that I'm already about two years too old, so. Totally biased.
Harry Callahan- If only Paul Newman were a few years younger. And still working. *sigh* I got nothing.
Betty Callahan- Sigourney Weaver, if she can get the dancer-like movement down.
Tom Swale- Christian Bale
Carl Romeo- I'm leaning towards Guy Pearce, for some reason. He'd have to grow a mustache, of course.
Peach- Cate Blanchett. I think she could pull off dangerous, motherly, and irascible by turns, which is what Peach really needs.
S'reee- I can't get Vienna Teng out of my head for this part, but I have no idea if she can act. Backup is Emmy Rossum.
Aroooon- . . . Jim Broadbent? Isaac Hayes? I got nothing.
Hotshot- Jensen Ackles. Which, okay, is totally because I've been bingeing on Supernatural, but c'mon. He has the attitude down cold. Backup is Hugh Jackman.
Iniihwit-
Fang-
Roots-
T!h!ki-
Fluke- I can't currently remember genders or much in the way of character for these guys, so I'm holding off on casting them. I feel they should be more known for their singing than their acting (though for the love of the Powers, don't ignore the acting), and maybe not well known for either. I heart unknowns, yes I do.
Ed'rashtekaresket- Anthony Hopkins.
The Lone Power- Jude Law has been suggested before; I have no better suggestions.
High Wizardry
Ditto.
The Man in the Bar- Peter Davison, ideally. Backup is David Tennant, or whoever is playing the Doctor at the time.
Assorted mobiles- Hugo Weaving, Laurence Fishburn, Carrie Ann Moss, Joe Pantoliano, Kathleen Barr, Douglas Rain, John Wood, Joe Frank, Michael Benyaer, Shirley Millner . . . Gotten the joke yet?

Date: 2007-06-01 02:43 am (UTC)Well. *handwaggles* The books being set in The Eternal Present, it makes sense to have the most current Doctor cameo. But the fifth Doctor was who DD was writing about, after all . . . So it's kind of a toss-up.
Besides, nothing like cameoing an old-school, distinguished, British actor to give your film some class. Worked for Star Wars, right?
