If you are the praying sort, could you please say a prayer for my friend Jessie and her son? He's only a few years old and he's been in the hospital, mostly comatose, since around July 24. There have been a lot of ups and down, according to Facebook -- just not enough ups yet. Prognosis is not terribly positive at this point, at least not for a full recovery.

Jessie and I aren't close, but we worked together in Alaska theatre. She's only a few years older than me, and I can't imagine what she's and her family are going through.

So, yeah. Light a candle, say a prayer, send some good vibes in the direction of North Carolina?
