I think you demean zombies by comparing them with some of the protesters. At least by the end of the day, zombies have brains (if not their own).
(This isn't to say that all the protesters are like that, of course. But the mindless smashy-smashy that made a shambles of Seattle probably more harm to anti-globalization efforts than all the G-20 conferences together.)
