Hey, gao, have you read Passing, by Nella Larsen? It's a novel with a lot about indeterminacy in race and biraciality -- and, if you read it like I do, indeterminacy in sexual identity/orientation. It's a pretty quick read. It keeps making me think of Rose and Susannah.
