YES. omg. I showed it to the roomie last night, since we just finished watching s4, and she likes film, and I figured she'd appreciate it. And at the end she said, "That's cute. Too literal, though."
So combining that with her hatred of Martha and Sarah Jane, I can only conclude that she is a philistine, if a well-meaning one. And hey, she's been changing her mind about Joss Whedon after seeing Dr. Horrible, so there may yet be hope for her.

um I ... okay so there's this guy, name of Spencer Krug, he's been in a billion different small bands in Canada seeing as how he's based I think out of Montréal. One such band is Wolf Parade; they sort of chilled for a while after their CD came out and everyone went off to do other projects too; SK's was called Sunset Rubdown and he managed to come up with two CDs in it before Wolf Parade got back together for their next.
Other related bands: The Handsome Furs (featuring Wolf Parade's other lead singer, because they trade off), Swan Lake (which has ... a lot of people in it, and was deemed a supergroup accordingly), The New Pornographers (which don't have SK in them but do have just about everyone else it seems).
seeing as how I'm at work I ... don't have access to all that much of their music! but Pandora can steer you right.
