I was in such a horribly grouchy mood all day. Out of four classes, the only one that didn't manage to piss me off because of how the teacher handled things was the one that got cancelled.

But you know what made it a lot better?

Seeing Dan Savage talk for two hours.

The man can talk, dude. He has amazing comedic timing. He waves his arms around spastically the same way I do when I'm excited. He makes fun of the live audience the same way he makes fun of people in his column, he comes up with answers on the fly, and -- just -- yes. Dude.

Plus, he signs autographs when awkward freshmen (read: me) come up and go (awkwardly) I'd be honored if you signed this. Thank you! *awkward pause* *handshake?*"
