I was going to say something about how Charles' government is actually pretty moral, otherwise Dr. Murry wouldn't have worked for them, and therefore this couldn't happen; but they're not entirely moral, are they, they hid what happened to Dr. Murry, and besides all it would take would be a new administration, and it's been five years since ASTP, so there must be one now . . .
I'm going to go hide under a table now and try not to make connections to Lyra's Magisterium's bomb that can be targeted between worlds.
