*deep breath*
While looking through college application info today after school (at Dad's insistence), I discovered that the deadline for apps to CMU's College of Fine Arts -- ie, the Drama school -- is December 1.
Can you say panic? So I spent a couple hours in a daze figuring out what paperwork has to go to who and whether my apps were in shape to apply online. When I finally took a break to make myself dinner, I decided stoicism could go hang and let myself cry. It helped, at least a little, I think.
I think, though, things will work out. I am extremely annoyed by the Common App online ("Extracurriculars? I do karate. No karate option? Martial Arts? . . . No? What the hell are Non-Varsity Athletics, anyway?") and I need to write a personal statement and essay for that, but I actually have pretty much everything for CMU filled out.
So thank goodness, for once, for parental nagging.
Spent three hours at a rehearsal that, actually, went well overall. And having to act chipper and capable for three hours can't help but make one feel a little more chipper and capable. I'm exhausted, though.
In far happier news, Dad got a video of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In that I'm looking forward to watching.
