London Planning Post

omigosh, plans!
( My itinerary, roughly )
So, okay, I think the most important bits of planning are:
1. Who am I meeting when, and where?
2. How shall we find each other? Bethan, you have my cell number, but the likelihood that I'll actually be using it once I'm off American soil is practically nil. (Did I mention Europe is expensive? Although in this case it's my phone carrier's fault, not the relative strength of the pound and euro compared to the dollar.)
I'm thinking we make a very definite plan on how to meet up -- eg, I will be the tiny cute gal in spectacles with a big gray backpack and a bright purple roller bag, and you will be the . . . person with the green umbrella standing beside Nelson's Column, or something, I mean I think we should meet somewhere actually in Covent Garden rather than in Trafalgar Square but you get my point -- and then we come up with a back-up plan if people get delayed -- eg, if I get there and no green umbrella is to be seen, I'll wait fifteen minutes and then go wait at the Museum.
Does that make sense? Mom points out that she did this kind of thing without too much trouble long before there were cell phones, so I am confident we can work it out!
In conclusion: LONDON.
