Dec. 28th, 2008 01:14 pmSo, on the recommendation of
ceph, I've been reading Slacktivist's page-by-page review of Left Behind the last couple of days. It is well worth it. Not only does the Slacktivist critique the book's writing in an educated and amusingly snarky fashion, he critiques the theology from the standpoint of a practicing evangelical Christian.
And, I mean, come on -- any reviewer that can reference C. S. Lewis, Kurt Vonnegut, and the Dharma Initiative with equal ease has got to be awesome.
