Ahem. I beg your pardon for the following; I don't intend to make too many political posts at this juncture.

But here's a little allcapsing for you. )

Now then. As you were.

So I spent a while last night looking up Hedwig and the Angry Inch clips on YouTube, because I've never seen or heard it. Oh, man, I feel like a bad theatre/GSA person! There's a song about the Platonic origin of love! SO GOOD.

(The animation really reminds me of The Point, too, which: win!)

Um. Yes. So. I think I need to rent this movie, perhaps.

Good: Submitted my proposal for Pandora. (Eeeee! *bounces nervously*) I should find out within in a week if I get to go ahead with it.

Bad: CMU did not send verification of my enrollment to AlaskAdvantage, the loan company, so AlaskAdvantage still thinks I graduated in August and wants money from me. So now I have to go over and plead with them to tell the clearinghouse that I am FUCKING ENROLLED, which they said they would do LAST MONTH, or send the proper information to AlaskAdvantage, or something.

I am maybe a little mad about this.

And then I'm taking a nap, dammit.

"Ahahahah. *headdesk*": Judging by some of the criteria we discussed in World History recitation today -- namely, how much access to infrastructure like roads and electricity a place has, and whether the place is an extractive or an industrial economy -- Alaska is a third-world country.

Hopefully good: Seeing Across the Universe tonight at 10. I'm thinking that this time, I'll be able to ignore the fact that the plot, such as it is, is . . . ah, skimpy? Incoherent? and focus on the singing and pretty colors and giant puppets.

33 minutes, 2.5 miles, 200+ calories; plus weights, push-ups, and sit-ups.

I have the lamest motivational technique for working out. *sheepish grin* There's a big TV with cable in the workout room, and I watch whatever's on and tell myself that if I get in shape, it'll up my chances of being on something like that.

Tonight's motivational tape? The Matrix.

So tonight's motivational theme was You could look that good in leather!

*grin* Hey, man, whatever keeps me moving. Watching The Matrix has the added bonus of getting to try to identify what martial arts styles and moves Morpheus and Neo are using.
