Nov. 22nd, 2007 01:31 pmEesh, I've been gone all of fourteen hours and I had to skip=?40!
Am safely in Niles, watching the dog show with my cousins, aunt, and one of their Australian Shepherds. And their two four-month-old Aussie puppies, named Xena and Nurple.
My family is hilarious. I also think I've been challenged to sleeping by my cousin (he says he came home one weekend and slept 18 hours).
Anyway, the Aussie won first in the herding group, so we're watching to see if it gets Best in Show in ten minutes.
I successfully caught the bus to the train, in spite of my total paranoid freak-out on the way to the bus stop (I had too much caffiene. I get really nervous when I have too much caffiene and then travel, but I always want to be alert when I'm traveling. Dilemma!). The bus driver was very helpful when I asked where the best place to get off for the station was, and there was a nice Indian guy who just got his master's in Entertainment Technology at CMU. He was headed for the Amtrak station too, so we walked together, which meant I didn't have to be nervous about walking around downtown Pittsburgh at 11 PM.
Now, I should sign off, because we've only got dial-up here and I don't want to tie up the phone line too long.
Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! I am thankful for all of you.
