Jul. 13th, 2007 05:44 pmAh, right. It's Friday the 13th.
The day started with running to three different stores to try and find toy M-16s for less than $15 apiece (no luck; I went with the $15 ones), had a middle bit of being vented at by a friend about my director and then being vented at by the director about the friend, and ended with an attempt to donate blood that resulted in an unusable sample -- I couldn't fill up the bag, because she couldn't find a vein.
You'd think my blood pressure would've been high enough to manage it.
Just generally a day filled with big and little stressors.
And I only have a week before I have to be done packing.
Y'know, I wore my Ganesh pendant today in the hopes I'd get some obstacles removed.
ETA: In the course of packing, I figured I should check out what Pittsburgh winters are like.
.... I am a horrible person, guys. 'Cause I burst out laughing at "Longest period on record with snow on the ground: 53 days" and lows in the high 20s. At least there is a decent amount of snowfall (slightly under four feet total).
Of course, the other three months of the year are gonna kill me. Highs in the 60s in October?
