*SO amused*

So I'm sitting in the lounge reading Eye of the World when a
guy I know (who makes a habit of being a pain in the ass, but usually
is entertaining about it) comes up and sits next to me. I put down the
book; he picks it up.

"New York Times Bestselling Author," he scoffs. "Doesn't even have any
awards. You know what series you should read?"

"What?" I say.

"The Dark Tower series by Stephen King," says he.

"--AHAHAHA," say I.

Another guy I know joined us, and we ended up discussing how awesome
DT is, how we could write better novels than The Gunslinger and
we're only 18, and how awesome Moiraine is.

Good morning. *grin* Also, people are signing up for my movie class,
which I am SO EXCITED for.
