Tin Grin no more!

Woot! My braces are off! Rejoice! My teeth feel really smooth... it's very odd, I keep expecting to get food stuck in my braces. I ate an apple when I got home from the orhtodontist. Oh my god.... I've been looking forward to that for months.
I was sorta bummed out, though. They put in permanent retainers -- that is, wires bonded to my teeth -- and that was depressing, since I'd been anticipating a totally smooth mouth. Grr. But, who knows? I'll either get used to them or have them taken out in six months or so. Or both. Whatever.
I've decided I go to the coolest school in the world. I go to this freaky alternative school, you see. The past two weeks, I've been taking an intensive on Strategic Gaming (I liked the gaming part, but I wasn't so good at the Strategic part. I played a lotta chess) and today, all I have is two hours of registration for classes. So essentially, I got a five day weekend. Hah. Plus, I'm going to try to do an Independent Study (IS) on fanfiction. How cool is that? By the by, I do have a fanfiction.net account -- one under the name Adiva Calandia (wow, how original) and a joint one under the name Really Big Pencil Ltd. *grin* Feel free to check it out and review *hint hint*.
On the acting front, I'm currently taking a class called Playing Shakespeare. We're doing a much abridged version of Midsummer Night's Dream, with yours truly as Puck *big grin*. It's so much fun. The teachers are actually playing Oberon and Titania, so I'm uber-psyched about working with the King of Shadows (I've taken classes from him before -- he's really nifty -- but this'll be my first experience actually sharing a stage with him. It's a bit intimidating, perhaps -- he's played Hamlet in a local production and is an all-around fabulous Shakespearean actor).
