Plus: At this point, she's only been aware of her abilities for ten months? Twelve? She has sixteen years worth of conditioning to, say, not run in front of cars.
I also think a skilled cheerleader could land that jump without breaking their shin. Fucking up their ankles, maybe, but shin seems less likely.
