adiva_calandia. . . Inserting "road trip" for "lion" really robs that subject line of its absurdity. Alas.
Anyway!
Y'all may remember this post, about my upcoming (OH GEEZ ONLY THREE WEEKS) road trip down to and across the Lower 48 (also known as the contiguous US, for you Outsiders). As we near that time, I figured I'd repost the itinerary and poke around for reactions.
July 22-27: Anchorage->Seattle. For the first portion of that trip, I have no idea at all what Internet status will be. Once we get closer to the border, though, all should be fine. I promise not to drive off a cliff or get eaten by bears until I'm close enough to civilization to post about it.
July 27-30: Seattle!
July 31-August 1: Portland
August 2: Boise or Pocatello
August 3-4: Denver
August 4-6: Oklahoma City, for a conference for Mom
August 7: Kansas City
August 8-10: General Iowan rambling
August 11-12: Chicago, which I presume will still exist after being descended upon by Millimuns a few weeks earlier.
August 12-15: Buchanan, MI. This is probably mostly family time.
August 16: PITTSBURGH, PA. *excitedpanickyflail*
And an added trip!
August 25: Washington, DC, with the rest of the Dramaturgy dept., to see a lecture by Mark Bly. Details about that will, presumably, be forthcoming. I am assuming we'll be there most of Saturday and Sunday, so there should be time to gad about the city.
And here I repeat my request for good road trippin' music. *certainly not looking hopefully at Aspen and Lynne on that front*
