(This is all brought on by watching the first couple episodes of Dollhouse, which, after a disappointing first episode, is slowly convincing me that it may not be the shark-jumper of Joss's career I expected.)
So every year or so, new musicals are workshopped here at CMU. Last year, Stephen Schwartz (yes, that Stephen Schwartz) workshopped Bubble Boy: The Musical. Very cool even if it is yet another one of those move-to-musical adaptations I think are flooding Broadway to its detriment. Our actors were great in it.
At the season announcement on Thursday, they announced what the next musical workshopped would be.
"It's called Bring It On."
If there's not a song called "Sweater Monkeys" THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY.
