Dec. 6th, 2007 12:38 pmSo I discovered this new drink Tuesday night -- Rip It Chic. They sell it at the Indian place on campus.
I drank a can before the show, bounced around backstage for a while, and spat out a complete outline for my Tin Man review in about thirty minutes.
It's a little bit unnerving. I mean, caffeine is a known quantity -- I have a decent, if rough, idea of how much I can have before I start having unpleasant side effects like shakes and paranoia -- and taurine and whatever the hell else is an unknown. A closer look at the nutrition facts, though, suggests that at least part of what's giving me so much energy is the B6 and B12, which I'm probably really deficient in.
Anyhoo. Most energy drinks are pretty benign, right? I'll just keep an eye on it and appreciate the increased productivity.
. . . Although apparently it can't save this introduction to my Oedipus Rex paper. *facepalm* Ugggh.
ETA: *thoughtful* Mairelon/Richard Merrill?
Not like I got character bleed from that movie or anything. >.>
(Easily distracted from productive work? What?)
