. . . Uuuuuh?
Look, Kripke, I know you can cast good actresses -- hi Ellen and Jo and Meg! -- so why have both Rubies and now Anna been so damn annoying? And now Dean is sleeping with Anna? What the fuuuuuuck.
I might like Anna a little better if she didn't look so much like Madame Director, but roomie says she's irritated by her too.
And all this "the grace" stuff? >.O Angels getting to go back to heaven? What?! What?!
Whatever. Just give me more Castiel. There's an actor who knows how to play an angel. "Leave. Now. Or we lay waste."
. . . Also the revelation of Dean's time in Hell. *WAILS* *WAILS*

Word on the grace thing. It reminds me of Slacktivist's "magic spells." Also, Anna made me 'ship Castiel/Dean in earnest for possibly the first time.

I mean, I'm not about to expect good theology from the CW, and for the most part, I really really like the cosmology they've built up, both for angels and demons. It's all very Neil Gaiman -- "Do you know how many angels have seen God's face? ... Four."; "Go ahead and kill me. I've made piece with my Lord." -- and there are so many more interesting places to go with it than a little bottle of glowy swirly stuff.
And I know they can, too. What's that episode where Castiel and Dean end up sitting in the playground and Castiel confesses to having doubts? That's awesome.
I don't know. Mainly I don't like Anna. Come ON, guys! Maybe your female fans would be more open to recurring female characters if you didn't cast BAD ACTRESSES and give them SUB-PAR WRITING. (*waves little "Bring back Bela!" flag*)
