So, my driving lessons with the intriguingly named Butch have been moved from 3:30 in the afternoon for the next four days, to 8 AM. FUN.

Long day, not enough to eat, I'm tired but less cranky than I was half an hour ago. OH and I got an idea for an OOM, so I'll write that up before going to bed early in preparation for driving.

(Why no, I'm not terrified in the least little bit, why do you ask? Oh, the hyperventilating? No, that's just . . . 'cause . . . I'm asthmatic. Yep.)

The first hymn we sang at church today was called "This Day God Gives Me," to the tune of "Morning Has Broken." Check out the lyrics. I was GRINNING, man.

omg BUTCH! He was totally MY driving instructor! Um, I mean, I can't imagine that there are two. Is he an enormous black man? He is seriously the best. We talked philosophy and Star Wars the whole time.

Hee, I sent you a link to the wrong hymn.

This was the one we used to sing: http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/s/t/stpatric.htm

It was one of my favorites.

meh. Driving is easy. You are a smart girl. Just do some theatracal warm ups before the driving lesson, you will realize you are becoming nervous for no reason at all...

Anyway, Its not about the driving, its about that really good looking guy you are working with on a show..... have you flirted him up???? did he flirt back??... ....sleazy minds have to know.

Ahahahaha to the hymn. *would have been grinning too, oh heavens yes*

I was going to say "Driving will go fine! I have confidence in you," but then my common sense reasserted itself and reminded me that the past tense is more appropriate here. *grin* So: driving was just fine!

That's a variation I hadn't read before. L'Engle used two different ones that I know of in her books.
