Statements About Sarah Palin That Enrage Me Regardless of Political Leanings, by Me, age 19 and 5/6
"Yeah, she was governor of all five people in Alaska!" (Classmate, Directing II. In re: a woman quoted in the New York Times as hailing her twenty months as governor as more experienced than Obama.)
"She's a cunt." (Other classmate, Feminist Lit class. In re: Palin in general.)
. . . Wow, ten and a half hours later that second one still makes me want to punch something for about three different reasons.

I've seen comparisons of people done with Alaska re: cities in America. Not exactly sure of the relevance of them, but, *blinks*
And the second...yeah, I'm with you on the punching through walls.

And politics-wise, we have a fairly unique system of government that deals with totally unique issues in the US. We also have a shit-ton of corruption -- in both parties. The fact that we have few people is immaterial to both those facts.
Rrrrrr. As for "cunt," I am all for reclaiming the word, but using it in a derogatory, dismissive, knee-jerk fashion towards a woman IS NOT RECLAMATION.
