Reading My Enemy, My Ally. Vastly in love with Ael t'Rllaillieu (even
if I can't write her name without reference), and even more in love with
Ael's interactions with Spock. At this rate, will end up doing a mixed_muses post that's all Diane Duane, all the time -- Sunspark,
Ael, Nita, Carmela, and I don't know, the Lone Power or something thrown in
to round it out. (Where would one find a PB for a book-canon female Romulan,
though? Or would one just do some clever cropping to hide the ears? . . .)

As I haven't seen a huge influx of female Romulans in m_m, you could probably get away with using a female Romulan from the series. There's one in TOS who is supposed to be her niece, in any case.
