I'm going to need a tag for this Design project.
ADIVA: *decides to use Rider-Waite Tarot deck to start building costume ideas off of, after doing a fair amount of research on "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came" and "Song of Roland"*
HIGH PRIESTESS: *looks good for the Dark Girl [Stage directions specify her as "dark and thoughtful" and "robed in gray"]*
ADIVA: *researches significance of High Priestess*
HIGH PRIESTESS: *represents secret knowledge, illumination* *also has Land of Death symbolism on her card*
GNEIL!DEATH: *is remarkably similar, in Adiva's mind*
ADIVA: *continues* *decides Knight of Swords looks right for a medieval-era Roland* *researches*
KNIGHT OF SWORDS: *represents archetypal, chivalric hero*
SONG OF ROLAND!ROLAND: *is an archetypal, chivalric hero* (Like srsly. The guy holds honor above everything, which is his tragic flaw -- he doesn't call for help from Charlemagne until too late. And when he's taking out hundreds of Saracens singlehandedly, their blows tear holes in his armor and don't touch him. Oliver strikes his helmet in half and the blow doesn't touch his head. You gotta love epics.)

SITE: Physically lean yet strong. He moves swiftly. Restless, active and fiery. Piercing eyes, usually blue. Mostly clean shaven, though not always. Above average height.
ADIVA: ........ AHAHAHAHAHAH.
ADIVA: *thinks the First Girl may be the Queen of Cups, but not for any particularly 19-y reasons*
ADIVA: *is SCARED of this project, man*
