Just donated blood! As my dad said on the phone (before my battery died),
between donating blood and escorting at Planned Parenthood I ought to be
building up a lot of good karma.

The only other particularly exciting thing today was that I was informed by
a sophomore that smooth transitions in writing is also known as *
elegance*, As We Call It In Style And Rhetoric. Thank you, sophomore! I
never would have known that my choppy transitions were *inelegant* if
you hadn't brought your keen, Style And Rhetoric trained eye to it!

(Her other critiques were fine, and she was right about the choppy
transitions, but for goodness' sake. *amused*)
