I am very pleased that [Adiva] remains interested in our
program! As far as application procedures, she has been admitted to
the Drama School, but she still must be admitted to Carnegie Mellon
University. In [Adiva]'s case, this is a mere formality, but she must
still submit all her application materials as specified, by December
1. . . .
I sincerely hope that this is not an impediment, because [Adiva] is a
student I will fight for. In fact, if she applies to both Dramaturgy
and PTM, Professor Boevers and I may come to blows!
A few minutes later, from Mom:
I talked to [Admissions person] on the phone, a little bit
ago. She said that you didn't have to send any of the dramaturgy stuff
at all. You're done. We'll send the letter of acceptance, even
though she said we didn't really have to. But Doc thought it would be
a good idea, so we will send it.
